Vicki Graves-Hill

Ms. Graves Hill is returning to Roll Hill Elementary as Principal for the 2025–2026 school year. This marks a special milestone, as it will be her 20th year serving as Principal and her continued commitment to the Roll Hill community.

Ms. Graves-Hill began her career as a dedicated teacher in Cincinnati Public Schools, where she taught at Roberts, Schwab, and College Hill Elementary Schools, working with students in grades 2 through 6. She later served as the Assistant Principal at North Fairmount Elementary, supporting students in grades PreK–8, before joining Roll Hill as Principal, a position she has proudly held for 18 years. During her tenure, Roll Hill transitioned from a PreK–8 to a PreK–6 school under district restructuring.

In addition to her leadership at Roll Hill, Ms. Graves-Hill served as an administrator on the Instructional Support Team for Cincinnati Public Schools, providing academic support and guidance to principals and teachers throughout the district. She also participated in elementary and high school audits for Ohio AdvancED, evaluating academic performance in districts across the state.

Ms. Graves-Hill holds both a Bachelor's and a Master's degree in Elementary Education from the University of Cincinnati. She earned her Principal (K–8) and Superintendent credentials from Xavier University and is certified as a Turnaround Specialist through the University of Virginia’s Darden College of Business. In 2023, she was honored as the Rotary Club’s Cincinnati Public Schools Administrator of the Year, a well-deserved recognition of her leadership and dedication.

Throughout her career, Ms. Graves-Hill has mentored aspiring school leaders who have gone on to become successful principals themselves. She has led professional development for teachers and administrators both locally and across Ohio. Under her leadership, Roll Hill has been recognized multiple times for Value-Added growth, increased Performance Index scores, and improvements in achievement ratings on the state report card, demonstrating a consistent record of academic progress for students.

Most recently, Ms. Graves-Hill has been serving at the district level as the Director of Strategic Planning. However, her heart remains in school leadership, and she is eager to return to Roll Hill to continue building on its success.

Ms. Graves-Hill is passionate about developing strong instructional leaders and teachers and is deeply committed to student achievement. She believes that a strong academic foundation is key to future success and is enthusiastic about partnering with families to support every child's academic and social growth.
